Who is this Immunoman?

I grew up in Farmington, New Mexico while doing a lot of camping, hiking, fishing and occasional episodes of pyromania.

I earned BS and MS degrees in Microbiology at Brigham Young University and a PhD in Immunology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

I am currently an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Oklahoma State University. I have published research articles in the areas of cancer immunology, immunology of the skin, and environmental and nutritional immunology.

I have been married to my lovely wife Jeannie for almost 30 years. We have three grown children who are nearly perfect, and three grandchildren who are completely perfect.

My children helped me decide to do immunoman.com. This involved my realization that the immunology advice I had been giving them over the years could be of use to others. I was also spurred on by my son’s generous offer of his web publishing expertise.
